Tones (Menu 4) In this menu you can change the ringing tones of the currently selected profile by adjusting the following settings: Ringing tone, Ringing volume, Incoming call alert, Message alert tone, Keypad tones, Warning tones, Vibrating alert and Rhythmic backlight alert. · Vibrating alert: you can set the phone to vibrate or not while there's an incoming short message or call. · Rhythmic backlight alert: after you set this option on, whenever you receive a message or incoming call, the lights of the phone will flash following the rhythm of the current SMS alert tone, or the current incoming call alert tone. All rights reserved. 41 Profiles (Menu 5) You can set all the phone tones to function in the desired manner by selecting the desired setting group ('profile'). If you selected Personalise, scroll to one of the following settings and press Select: Ringing tone, Ringing volume, Incoming call alert, Message alert tone, Keypad tones, Warning tones, Vibrating alert, Rhythmic backlight alert, Screen saver, and Rename (not available under General). To set the profile to be active for a certain amount of time up to 24 hours, select Timed and set the end time. When the time set for the profile expires, the previous non-timed profile becomes active. You can also change the settings of the currently selected profile in Tones, see Tones (Menu 4) on page 41. To customise the list, press Menu, and select Settings and Right scroll key settings. · To select the desired functions, select Select options and the list of available functions is shown. · To adjust the order of the functions in the list, select Organise and then the desired function. You can save or ignore the changes in the same way as above. Time settings Press Menu, and select Settings, Time settings and · Clock to set the phone to show the current time in standby mode, adjust the time, and select the 12-hour or 24-hour time format. If the battery is removed from the phone or if it has been drained for a long period, you need to set the time again. If the battery is removed from the phone, you need to set the date again.
